IRVING, Texas – Memphis quarterback Brady White has been chosen as the winner of the 2020 William V. Campbell Trophy presented by Mazda as the top scholar-athlete in college football.
White will receive a $25,000 postgraduate scholarship as the Campbell Trophy winner. He will accept the award Thursday as part of the virtual Home Depot College Football Awards program on ESPN and will be recognized with a video tribute during the College Football Playoff National Championship next Monday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
White is the first American Athletic Conference player to win the Campbell Trophy.
