MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Sutton Smith ripped off a 64-yard touchdown run with 4:51 remaining, and Chris Bracy punched the ball loose on Arkansas’ final drive to preserve Memphis’ 32–31 victory Saturday at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.
The Tigers (4–0) extended their winning streak to eight games, the longest active run in the FBS, and scored at least 20 points for the 44th straight game, also the nation’s longest active streak.
Brendon Lewis ran for two short touchdowns and hit Cortez Braham Jr. on a 38-yard scoring pass as Memphis rallied from a 28–10 second-quarter deficit.
