Memphis Falls to Utah Valley, 1-0, in NCAA First Round

GREENVILLE, N.C. -- Memphis fell to Utah Valley in the first round of the 2020 NCAA Women's Soccer Championship in Greenville, N.C.

Sadie Brockbank broke the scoreless tie for Utah Valley (13-4-4) in the 60th minute off assists from Amber Tripp and Julianna Carter.

The Tigers outshot UVU, 15-7, and had two corners to the Wolverines' three. Elizabeth Moberg had three saves for Memphis (8-4-0), including a penalty save in the 23rd minute, while Isabel Jones-Dawe had five saves for Utah Valley.

It the was the Tigers' fourth NCAA appearance in five years and ninth overall.
