Memphis Falls in Penalties to Arkansas in NCAA Third Round

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Memphis, the American Athletic Conference women's soccer champions, came from behind twice against No. 3 Arkansas to force overtime, but fell in a penalty shootout, 3-2, in the NCAA Championship third round Sunday evening.

Memphis (11-5-6) was down 2-0 in the first half, but goals from Lilly Huber and Jocelyn Alonzo in the final five minutes of the half tied the game at 2-2. In the second half, Arkansas (13--3-5) scored in the 81st minute, but Mya Jones scored in the 88th minute to send the match into overtime.
