The Tigers (6-6) used a pair of touchdowns early in the fourth quarter to take the lead for good as Asa Martin's 1-yard touchdown run gave Memphis a 26-21 advantage before Henigan found Eddie Lewis for a 25-yard score with 13:31 left to make it 33-21.

Tulane (2-10) rode a 264-yard, two-touchdown effort from Tyjae Spears to stay in it, and the Green Wave closed to within five when Duece Watts made a tough catch in the end zone with 1:57 left.
