IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly men’s soccer honors, for the week ending Sunday, March 28.
Offensive Player of the Week
Alex Meinhard * R-Fr. * F * Tulsa
Meinhard extended his scoring lead in The American with a pair of goals for Tulsa in a 2-1 home victory against No. 22 SMU on March 27. Meinhard found the back of the net for the match’s first goal at 19:36 and then broke a 1-1 tie in the 81st minute, finding his league leading fifth match-winning goal at the 80:41 mark.
