Former Memphis star Joe Salisbury, an all-conference selection in the American Athletic Conference as a senior, reached the championship final in the mixed doubles draw at the 2025 Wimbledon Championships in London.
Salisbury and partner Luisa Stefani dropped a 7-6 (3), 7-6 (3) decision to Sem Verbeek and Katerina Siniakova in the final as Salibury was looking for a seventh Grand Slam title. Salisbury has won four major championships in men's doubles (three US Open, one Australian Open) and two in mixed doubles (US Open and French Open).
