PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly cross country honors for the week ending on September 22.
Male Athlete of the Week
Emmanuel Rotich * Sr. * Tulane
Rotich, the 2017 American Athletic Conference men’s cross country champion, made his presence felt in his first race of the season, winning the Texas A&M Invitational. He placed first of 118 runners in the 8K race with a time of 23:43.3. Rotich, the defending South Central Regional champion, won the race on Watts Cross Country Course, which will be used for this year’s NCAA regional.
