PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Fabian White Jr, Jr., F, Houston
White was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Diamond Head Classic and led Houston to wins over Georgia Tech and No. 21/20 Washington with 17.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Grant Sherfield, G, Wichita State
Sherfield recorded his first double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds on 6-of-6 shooting in the Shockers’ 84-66 win over Abeline Christian.
