IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly volleyball awards for the week ending Sunday, September 12.
Offensive Player of the Week
Isabel Theut, Gr., MB/OPP, Houston
Theut had an impressive week for the Cougars, helping Houston go 3-0 against two 2021 NCAA Tournament teams. She averaged 4.31 points per set, 3.92 kills per set and hit .321 on the week. Theut set career-highs in kills against both South Alabama (19) and (RV) Mississippi State (20). She hit .600 in the sweep over Kennesaw State while collecting 12 kills.
