Theut had a monster week, helping lead the Cougars to a 2-0 weekend and a win over No. 23 UCF. The middle blocker had 5.06 points per set and 4.38 kills per set. In the battle for first place in The American against the Knights, Theut led the Cougar attack with 22 kills and hit .
