IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s swimming and diving honors, for the week ending Monday, Jan. 11.
Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Ioanna Sacha * Sr. * Houston
Sacha enjoyed two strong showings in dual action last week for Houston, helping the Cougars defeat conference foes SMU (162.5-137.5) and Tulane (203-97). She swam top-seven conference times in the 100 (:55.21) and 200 (2:01.00) backstroke to sweep the events against Tulane, adding a win in the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.
