PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s first weekly women’s basketball honors of the 2018-19 season, for the week ending Sunday, Nov. 11.

Okoene delivered a career performance in an exciting opening week for RV Houston. In the Cougars’ double-overtime victory against Georgia Tech on Friday, the North Carolina transfer tallied her first career double-double, dropping 26 points with 11 rebounds while shooting .625 from the field (10-for-16). Six of her rebounds came on the offensive end, and she shot 6-for-9 from the foul line.
