PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Houston junior Leonie Harm (Gerlingen, Germany) was named the American Athletic Conference Women’s Golf Player of the Week on Wednesday after leading the Cougars at the LSU Tiger Classic.

The conference honor is the third in Harm’s career and first of the season.

After firing consecutive rounds of 74 on the Par 72 course at The University Club, Harm closed with a 72 (74-74-72 – 220) in humid, windy conditions, taking second place among 72 competitors.

The runner-up finish was Harm’s best of the season; in all but one tournament this year, the junior has posted top-20 results.
