IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly men’s basketball honors for the ninth week of the season.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Josh Carlton, Gr., F, Houston
Carlton was instrumental in a pair of Cougar wins, averaging a double-double with 26.0 points and 11.5 rebounds. Against South Florida on Wednesday, Jan. 5, the forward had a career-high 30 points along with 11 rebounds, while against Wichita State on Saturday, Jan. 8, he posted 22 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks.
