PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league's weekly men's basketball honors for the fourth week of the college basketball season.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Armoni Brooks - Houston - Jr. - G - Round Rock, Texas
Brooks led the Cougars to a 2-0 week that included a win over No. 18/21 Oregon. He averaged a double-double for the week with 14.5 points and 10.5 rebounds as Houston is off to its fourth-ever 6-0 start and first since 1997-98. Brooks grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds against UTRGV and played all but one minute in the game.
