FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Robert Henry Jr., the nation’s leading rusher entering the weekend, ripped off touchdown plays of 76 and 74 yards as UTSA edged Colorado State 17-16 on Saturday night at Canvas Stadium.
Henry finished with 144 yards on 21 carries and added a 74-yard touchdown reception, accounting for both of the Roadrunners’ scores. His 76-yard burst up the middle midway through the second quarter gave UTSA (1-2) its first lead, and he turned a short pass from Owen McCown into a 74-yard sprint with 4:49 remaining to put the Roadrunners up 17-10 .
