PROVIDENCE, R.I.—Four American Athletic Conference soccer players were honored as CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced Thursday (Dec. 5).
Memphis women’s soccer senior Stasia Mallin was named to the first team, while UCF men’s soccer senior Cal Jennings was honored on the second team. Cincinnati men’s soccer sophomore Ben Wendell and Temple men’s soccer senior Leandros Lillis were recognized on the third team.
Mallin was named a MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist and was a United Soccer Coaches All-Region First Team selection. She was also honored on the CoSIDA Academic All-America Second Team in 2018.
