PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly football honors for the second week of the 2016 college football season.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Flowers keyed USF’s 48-17 win against Northern Illinois as he completed 21 of 33 passes for a career-high 350 yards and four touchdowns and added 53 rushing yards on 11 carries. Flowers had 403 yards of total offense, engineering the Bulls’ 658-yard performance that ranks second in school history.
