Flowers and Mack Lead USF Over East Carolina, 38-22

AP - TAMPA, Fla. -- Marlon Mack rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns, Quinton Flowers threw for three more and South Florida defeated East Carolina 38-22 on Saturday.

East Carolina (2-4, 0-2 American) scored 16 straight points to close within 24-22 with 6:58 remaining before Flowers connected with Rodney Adams on a 62-yard touchdown pass and Mack added a 9-yard scoring run following an interception by Nigel Harris.

The Bulls (5-1, 2-0) extended a school-record streak with their 10th straight game of 35 points and have won six consecutive conference games.
