Florida Sweeps Top Women's Lacrosse Postseason Honors

IRVING, Texas -- Florida's women's lacrosse team, which went undefeated in American Athletic Conference play and won the league's regular-season title by three games, captured every major individual award and had a league-leading 10 players named to The American's 2021 all-conference teams as voted by the league’s six head coaches.

Midfielder Shannon Kavanagh, defender Cara Trombetta and goalkeeper Sarah Reznick were the unanimous choices of the coaches as the respective players of the year at their positions. Grace Haus was chosen as the Attack Player of the Year, midfielder Danielle Pavinelli was named as Freshman of the Year, while the Gators' coaching staff was selected by their peers for top honors in the conference as well.
