Autumn Courtney of the Florida Atlantic softball team has been named the fifth All American in program history. The junior pitcher was selected to the NFCA All-American Third Team, as announced by the organization on Wednesday.
Courtney adds the accolade to one of the most impressive seasons in Owls history (45-12) on both an individual and team basis. After being named to the NFCA Gulf All-Region First Team, she led Florida Atlantic to its first NCAA Regional victory since 2016, her 24th win of the season.
In her first campaign as an Owl, Courtney finished with a record of 24-4, tied for 11th in the nation in wins, to go with an ERA of 2.
