In concert with the NCAA national initiative to encourage student-athlete voting the American Athletic Conference will devote all of its social media platforms on Election Day to coverage of the day's activities.
Leading up to the 2020 election, The American has provided student-athletes and fans with detailed state-by-state information with regard to voting registration procedures, early and absentee voting standards and resources to learn what to expect on their local ballots.
On Tuesday, The American will go dark with sports coverage for the day, instead focusing on voting and Election Day content. Student-atheltes, many of whom will be voting for the first time, will share their experiences thorugh The American's Twitter handles at @American_Conf and @American_SAAC.
