PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly baseball honors for the week ending Feb. 24.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Alec Burleson * So. * DH/1B/LHP * ECU
Burleson continues to impress on the mound and at the plate, as the sophomore had at least three hits in four games throughout the week, going 9-for-16. He delivered the game-winning RBI in Game 1 of the series against the Hawks and ended the week with five RBIs, three doubles, four runs scored and his first-career home run.
