Philadelphia, Pa – The East Carolina volleyball team went on the road and defeated Temple 3-2 on Wednesday night in American Athletic Conference action. East Carolina improves to 2-3 in The American, while Temple falls to 1-4.
Three Pirates ended with double-digit kills – Angeles Alderete (11), Shaylynn Hall (11) and Sophia Kruczko (10). Payton Evenstad (25) and Julianna Askew (15) paced the match, leading the team in assists. Defensively, Kenzie Beckham led East Carolina with 32 digs.
