IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly indoor track & field awards for the week ending Sunday, February 5.
Men’s Track Athlete of the Week
Royal Burris, Jr., East Carolina
Burris blazed through two races at the Doc Hale Meet. The junior sprinter won the 200 meter dash with a time of 21.28 and got second in the 60 meter dash with a season-best 6.79. His 200 meter time is the top time in The American this season.
