PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly volleyball honors for the week ending Sunday, Sept. 29.
Offensive Player of the Week
Megan Duncan * Sr. * OH/RS * Houston
Duncan led all players in The American with 43 total kills in a 2-0 weekend for Houston to open conference play. She added 23 digs and seven blocks to her stat line for the Cougars in a pair of five-set comebacks. Duncan logged 18 kills and 12 digs on Friday night against SMU, helping Houston erase a two sets-to-none deficit to storm back with three straight set wins and claim the match in the conference lid-lifter for 2019.
