IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly golf honors for the week ending Wednesday, April 12.
Men’s Golf Player of the Week
Santiago De La Fuente, Jr. - Houston
Santiago De La Fuente shot a 216 (E) at the Aggie Invitational. He improved his score each day of the tournament, posting scores of 74-72-70 on the par-72, 7,227-yard course at the Traditions Golf Club in Bryan, Texas. After shooting two-under par in round three, De La Fuente catapulted up 14 spots.
