PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s basketball honors, for the week ending Sunday, Jan. 26.
Player of the Week

Thomas averaged 27 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game while shooting 69.7 percent from the field in two league wins for Cincinnati last week. The junior set a new career-high with 35 points in an 85-66 win over Houston on Wednesday, going 14-of-22 from the field and 7-of-8 from the foul line while snagging 10 rebounds.
