IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly baseball honors.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Cole Harting, Fr., OF, Cincinnati
Harting helped lead the Bearcats to a 4-0 sweep of Tulane by hitting .556 (10-18) with eight runs scored and two runs driven in. The freshman outfielder hit six extra-base hits, including three doubles, a triple and two home runs.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
AJ Jones, Sr., RHP, UCF
Jones came on in relief for the Knights in game three of a four-game sweep, shutting the door with six scoreless innings.
