Gunner Kiel transferred to Cincinnati in the spring of 2013 after spending the 2012 season at Notre Dame where he redshirted as a true freshman ...After sitting out 2013 due to NCAA transfer regulations Kiel started at quarterback for the Bearcats last season. In his first game under center against Toledo the sophomore made quite an impression, completing 25 of 37 passes for 418 yards and six touchdowns, scattering the ball to nine different receivers. The record breaking performance set an American Athletic Conference record and tied a UC record for his six TD passes.
