PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly men’s soccer honors for the week ending Sunday, Sept. 30.
Offensive Player of the Week
Rex Epps * Jr. * F * Cincinnati
Epps provided most of the Bearcats’ offense on the week, registering seven points consisting of three goals and an assist. In his first game in a Cincinnati uniform, Epps scored twice and assisted on the third goal as Cincinnati defeated IUPUI 3-1. On Saturday, he added to his total, scoring the lone goal to give his team its first conference win, a 1-0 victory over Temple.
