PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the final winners of the league’s weekly indoor track and field honors of 2018 for the week ending February 18.

Persinger earned the second 55-meter hurdles title of his career on Friday at the Redhawks Invitational, running a personal-record time of 7.67 in the preliminary round. The senior continues to reach new heights in the hurdles this year after winning the 60-meter hurdles at the SIU Don DeNoon Invitational and running a personal record 60-meter hurdle time at the Music City Challenge.
