Charlotte Women, Rice Men Take Day One Lead at 2025 American Outdoor Track & Field Championship

CHARLOTTE, NC The Charlotte women and Rice men’s teams took an early lead at the 2025 American Outdoor Track & Field Championships following one day of competition at the Irwin Belk Track & Field Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The meet began with women’s hammer throw where East Carolina’s Jocelyn Pringle took home the first gold medal of the meet with a mark of 58.11 meters on her second throw. South Florida’s Annalee Harbison took home the silver with a mark of 55.99 meters, while Charlotte’s Sarah Pullium earned bronze with a throw of 55.
