Memphis rebounded to take game three against UConn Sunday afternoon, using home runs from Ashley Threatt and Sara Ann Davidson on the way to a 3-1 victory. Threatt got the Tigers on the board with her sixth home run of the year in the first inning before Davidson connected on her second home run of the season in the fourth inning. Kailey Hilderbrand picked up her first collegiate win, tossing a complete 7.0 innings and allowing one run on five hits, striking out two Huskies.
UConn finished with five hits, including Carli Cutler homer in the seventh inning to trim Memphis' lead to 3-1.
