Brown, South Florida Defense Power Bulls Past UTSA, 55-23

TAMPA, Fla. (Nov. 6, 2025) — Byrum Brown accounted for three touchdowns and South Florida’s defense scored twice as the Bulls rolled past UTSA 55-23 on Thursday night at Raymond James Stadium.

South Florida (7-2, 4-1 American) jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the opening eight minutes after Tavin Ward returned an interception 40 yards for a touchdown and Fred Gaskin added an 85-yard fumble return score.

Brown finished 14-of-15 passing for 239 yards and two touchdowns while adding 109 rushing yards and another score on the ground. Keshaun Singleton caught four passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns, including scoring receptions of 16 and 40 yards in the second quarter.
