CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL | STANDINGS
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Florida captured the inaugural regular season title and will be the top overall seed for next week’s 2019 American Athletic Conference Women’s Lacrosse Championship. The four-team, single-elimination tournament will be held at the Sheakley Athletics Center at the University of Cincinnati, with the semifinals set for Thursday, May 2 and the championship for Saturday, May 4.
The Gators (11-6, 5-0 American), currently ranked No. 18 in both the IWLCA and Inside Lacrosse polls, defeated Cincinnati 26-5 on Saturday to close out an unblemished 5-0 record in conference play.
