START OF THE 2020-21 SEASON
For the first time since the American Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Championship in March, teams from The American head back to the court this week to officially open the 2020-21 season. Six different American teams are in action on Nov. 25 in nonconference play, and nine of the conference’s 11 teams are expected to kick off the season by the end of play on Nov. 29.
CHANGES TO THE CONFERENCE SCHEDULE FORMAT
The 2020-21 league slate will feature each of The American’s 11 members competing in a 20-game, double round-robin schedule for the first time in conference history.
