The preseason honors continue to roll in for American Athletic Conference football players with the announcements of the watch lists for the Rimington Trophy, which goes to the nation's top center, and the Mackey Award, which recognizes the nation's best tight end.
The Rimington Trophy Watch List has UCF's Matt Lee, Memphis' Jacob Likes and Tulane's Sincere Haynesworth among the 40 candidates nationally.
The Mackey Award has six tight ends from The American. Cincinnati has two players on the list - Josh Whyle and Leonard Taylor. They are joined by Houston's Christian Trahan, Tulane's Tyrick James, East Carolina's Ryan Jones and UCF's Kemore Gamble
