PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference will convene for its Annual Spring Meeting next week at the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne in Key Biscayne, Florida. Presidents, athletic directors, senior woman administrators, faculty athletic representatives, head football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball coaches from member institutions, as well as American staff members, will attend the meeting from Tuesday, May 31-Friday, June 3.
“We are looking forward to three productive days of meetings with our presidents, athletic directors, SWAs, coaches and conference staff members,” American Commissioner Mike Aresco said. “We will be discussing our Conference’s strategic plan, television and digital strategies, new branding initiatives and key NCAA issues such as student-athlete time demands, the values-based distribution initiative, the student-athlete endorsement issue and a review of the current NCAA enforcement protocol.
