IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) has named its Executive Board for the 2021-22 school year.
For the second year in a row, Chris Paul (Houston, Texas), an offensive lineman on the University of Tulsa football team, will be The American's representative to the NCAA Division I SAAC Advisory Committee and will be one of 32 student-athletes (one from each Division I conference) that will report directly to the NCAA Division I Council. He is the first football player from The American to be named to the national SAAC and is the first student-athlete from Tulsa to serve as the conference's national representative.
