IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly football honors for the third week of the 2020 college football season.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dillon Gabriel • UCF • So. • QB • Mililani, Hawaii
Gabriel was chosen as the Walter Camp Football Foundation National Offensive Player of the Week after he enjoyed a career day in the Knights’ 49-21 win at Georgia Tech in UCF’s season-opener. Gabriel completed 27 of 41 passes for a career-high 417 yards and four touchdowns, becoming the fifth player in program history to throw for more than 400 yards with four TDs in a game.
