PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The 2019 American Athletic Conference Football Championship will be televised nationally on ABC.
This year will mark the fifth consecutive season in which The American Football Championship is televised on ABC. The game has drawn an average viewing audience of nearly 3 million viewers in in its first four years.
The Championship will be played Saturday, Dec. 7 at the home site of one of the conference’s divisional winners. The kickoff time will be announced at a later date.
The American was one of three FBS conferences, along with the ACC and the Big 12 to have its championship game on ABC last season.
