IRVING, Texas – Student-athletes from across the American Athletic Conference competed at regional sites on Friday attempting to qualify for the 2022 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships in Stillwater, Oklahoma on November 19. A total of 13 American athletes claimed all-region honors as a top-25 finisher at their respective regional championship meet.
The Tulsa Golden Hurricane men’s cross-country team won the Midwest Regional with a tiebreaker over Oklahoma State after taking third, fourth, fifth, and sixth place. With the regional win, Tulsa is an automatic qualifier as a team for the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships.
