The violence of racial injustice continues.
As if the murders of Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd and Breonna Taylor among others were not enough, another issue occurred on Sunday. Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old, was hit by four of seven gunshots in his back during an arrest by police officer Rusten Sheskey — according to multiple reports.
The incident happened in Kenosha, Wisconsin, as Blake was trying to break up a fight between two women.
While police responded to a call of domestic violence, Blake tried to get away from the scene and showed no signs of violent activity.
