Alabama football was without its starting tight end Josh Cuevas against Eastern Illinois on Saturday.
Cuevas has been one of the most dependable offensive players for the Crimson Tide this season. His status for next week is currently in the air, according to Alabama football’s head coach Kalen DeBoer.

Alabama leaned on Marshall Pritchett, Kaleb Edwards and Brody Dalton at tight end against the Panthers with Cuevas out. Pritchett led the Tide in receptions with four in the win.
