Alabama football’s starting quarterback Ty Simpson feels the Crimson Tide were hurting themselves Saturday against the South Carolina Gamecocks before they eventually stormed back in the fourth quarter to win 29-22.
The Tide went into the fourth quarter down by a point. Alabama’s offense had only scored one touchdown through two quarters to make the score 15-14 in favor of South Carolina after three quarters. A flip appeared to switch in the fourth, and Alabama’s offense scored 15 points to pull off the comeback in the final quarter.
