Why Ty Simpson called his performance against LSU ‘kind of brutal’

Ty Simpson led the Alabama Crimson Tide to a 20-9 victory over LSU on Saturday night, but it was not a dominant or pretty win for the Alabama offense.

Simpson finished the game with 277 yards, while completing 21 of his 35 attempts. He failed to connect with several of his wide receivers throughout the game, specifically when targeting them down the field. The signal caller could not find a rhythm throughout the night.

When a reporter asked him about the missed connections after the game, Simpson called his performance ‘kind of brutal.
