Why the NFL is falling in love with Alabama DL Quinnen Williams

A bashful grin spread across Quinnen Williams' face.

Alabama's prized nose guard was just asked if he was aware of his rising draft stock.

"I pay attention, but I don't really focus on that," the redshirt sophomore said. "I definitely don't get a big head."

Williams though is living large with a 6-foot-4, 295-pound frame that in the world of football once was considered undersized at the position he plays.

Now, it may be perfectly suited for the game in its current iteration where quarterbacks are asked to release the ball as soon as possible, pistol and shotgun formations predominate and a premium has been placed on generating pressure up the middle.
