Kalen DeBoer feels it was a bit easier to call plays Saturday against Wisconsin with Alabama football’s offensive line putting together a solid performance.
The Crimson Tide’s offense put up 42 points against the Badgers. Jalen Milroe came up with 35 of those points operating behind Alabama’s offensive line.
DeBoer feels the play of his offensive line Saturday had a domino effect on play calling.
“Just did a consistent job of making sure Jalen could stay upright, wasn’t rushed, hurried,” DeBoer said when discussing Alabama’s offensive line after the game. “It’s amazing how your play calls can just be so much easier when you’re in down and distances that are a bit more favorable.
